# JCFD5
> Jackson County Fire District No. 5 provides comprehensive emergency services including fire suppression, wildland firefighting, Advanced Life Support, hazardous materials response, rescue, and extrication. The district is staffed 24/7 by career firefighters and actively recruits volunteers to enhance its services. Serving over 23,000 residents across 120 square miles encompassing Phoenix, Talent, and unincorporated Ashland, the district responded to over 3,100 calls in 2025. The district is committed to progressive service delivery, innovation, and strong community partnerships, and recently entered an intergovernmental agreement for shared management services with Jackson County Fire District 3.
